The Full Project Process

1. Design & Quotation

Call in a Samuel O’Hanlon orangery designer. They will take nominal measurements, answer your questions and give you a free, no obligation quotation.

2. Survey

A detailed survey follows. Our surveyor will check the site for elements like drainage runs and floor levels and take accurate design measurements.

3. Detailed Drawings

We convert your site survey into an architectural drawing detailing all the requirements for your individually tailored
bespoke orangery.

4. Legal Requirements

We will apply for all necessary planning permission and third-party approvals on your behalf.

5. Building Regulations

We use a specialist building control agency to inspect and certify your building works to ensure full compliance with building regulations.

6. Base works commence

Firm foundations are laid and work on your new orangery begins.

7. Base wall

All base walls and brick columns will have cavity insulation for maximum thermal efficiency.

8. Roof structure

The flat roof is completed using a highly effective flat roofing membrane, before the lantern roof is affixed.

9. Wall frames

With the building works now complete, the wallframes start to take shape. Any electrical work is also completed at this stage.

10. Completion

Your new orangery is complete and ready for you to start decorating.

11. After Sale Service

Our guarantees cover your orangery, base and site works and are transferable if you decide to move. They include parts and labour, and there are no call-out charges or hidden extras..

12. Showhome

As agreed, we will take photos of your finished project, display an installation board. Allow us 2 home visits (optional).
